Key Responsibilities
- Assist construction manager in overseeing and coordinating all construction activities with trade partners.
- Ensure QC in construction practices with project plans and specifications.
- Schedule development and maintenance through course of construction. Experience with Phoenix software preferable.
- Assist project management with establishing and maintaining construction budget and change order costing.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Coordinate inspections.
- Adherence to safety regulations and monitoring of workers.
- Problem solving with issues or challenges that arise during construction, while keeping safety, client satisfaction, and budget in mind.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of applicable construction experience and management - interior and vertical commercial construction is preferred.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and code regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with project team members, owners, architects and engineers.
- Proficiency in reading construction documents and verifying takeoffs prior to material orders.
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu preferred.
- Certifications - OSHA 30-hour, First-Aid CPR.
